theresa musgrove Posted 14 May , 2008 Share Posted 14 May , 2008 Looking at the medal roll for my grandfather, Thomas Nicholson, RFA, service no 18311, I see that in the details for the Victory and British War Medals, there is a note in the remarks column. This is a cross folllowed by 'Noted RP'. Is this of any significance?
mts Posted 14 May , 2008 Share Posted 14 May , 2008 Hi Mimi Here's his MIC The only cross on there means he was awarded his VM & BWM as Bombadier I think and his Star as a Gunner Mel
