Does anyone know anything about the author of this book which was published annonymously by William Blackwood & Sons in 1915? john w. Posted 3 February , 2003 Share Posted 3 February , 2003 May Sinclair was an ambulance driver and only lasted a few weeks before she came home. She was unable to stay as it affected her so much. She became a successful author in her own right. But her time in France did affect her greatly.
