Guest jacqui54 Posted 11 May , 2008 Share Posted 11 May , 2008 My great uncle Private Ronald Duncan, 25004 was in this Bn., and I would love to get some information on the Cameronians. Ronal died on Monday 23rd October 1916 in Thiepval, his grave ref. is Pier and Face 4 D. I am in the process of researching my family history and in particular the Duncan side of my family and I know very little about his enlistment. I would appreciate any information. Thank you Jacqui Durtanovich

DMcNay Posted 11 May , 2008 Share Posted 11 May , 2008 Contact Barrie Duncan (username barrieduncan) - not only does he share the surname but he works for the Regimental Museum of the Cameronians. He should be able to give you more information.
Muerrisch Posted 11 May , 2008 Share Posted 11 May , 2008 Buy yourself 'Morale' by John Baines, a marvellous tribute to this fine unit in the Great War. An outstanding book.
