David_Bluestein Posted 13 February , 2004 Share Posted 13 February , 2004 Hi, Nice group. Sorry I cant offer any assistance, but I know there is at least one artillery expert on the forum who has one of the most complete RA libraries I have ever heard of! (His forum name is: rflory) Good luck David

rflory Posted 13 February , 2004 Share Posted 13 February , 2004 Pierre: Your man's service number falls in the sequence allocated to the Cornwall Fortress, RGA, Territorial Force which was composed of two heavy batteries and seven RGA companies. Many of these men were eventually sent overseas where they joined Siege and Heavy Batteries. When I get home tonight I will see if I can find him in any of my siege and heavy battery unit histories.
