Give me Mum a wave

My Mum, much to my envy, has left today to go to France and Flanders on tour. She will be visiting Vimy and Beaumont Hamel in addition to Juno Beach. You can't miss her she will be the seventy-four year-old leaving all the fifty-somethings in her wake.

Good on her. Will she have snow on her boots?

I will keep a look out.

Because you did me a favour before i won't say you mentioned her age.

Highly unlikely about the snow on the boots. She moves to fast. Puts me to shame. Over the last few years she has climbed Mount Kilaminjaro, hiked in Nepal, kayked in Belize etc etc...

Sounds like my late aunt, a Sister of Charity. At eighty-something she decided to do a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. She said "I didn't go at it hard, at Masada I stayed on the bus rather than climbing up to the top."
