andy 1 Posted 5 May , 2008 Share Posted 5 May , 2008 i have just been looking at the war diary for the first battalion lincolnshire regiment dated july 1916.at the end of the page for the 3/7/16 it says that a 2nd lieut F C Hills was killed on that day. the thing is i can't find any reference to a 2nd lieut f c hills 1st bn lincolns anywhere. can anyone help with any info on him thanks andy its okay i think i've found the answer,who ever filled in the diary got the initials wrong it looks like its l c hills at least thats the only 2nd lieut hills i can find on the cwgc that fits the date of death and regiment Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
