Dolphin Posted 9 February , 2004 Share Posted 9 February , 2004 I believe the lady is wearing the initial issue pale blue RAF uniform. Another photograph showing the uniform, from the Cormack Brothers' Osprey Book "British Air Forces 1914-1918 (2)" is below. A US Army officer opined that women in his service looked like girls dressed up as soldiers. The French Army filles resembled Catherine Deneuve dressed informally...
