neala Posted 18 March , 2008 Share Posted 18 March , 2008 Hi, I am trying to trace the citation of an MM award to a Private Joseph Carter of 15th (the kings ) Hussars, who was killed in action during the battle of cambrai 25/11/17. I have found the entry in the london gazette, but of course, no citation. Can anyone help? many thanks, Neal.
Coldstreamer Posted 18 March , 2008 Share Posted 18 March , 2008 welcome sadly MM citations are rarely gazetted for ww1 - a local paper or regimental records are your best bet he lived in Croydon but was from Brighton
