But if anyone comes across a Sergeant Jack Stanley Burgess, 11823, 3rd Bn (died 6/3/17) I'd be interested in any details, particularly to know if the Bn was in action that day. Charles Fair Posted 5 February , 2004 Share Posted 5 February , 2004 Howard, the closest thing to it that I know of is a "Nominal Roll of Warrant and NCOs serving in the KAR Quarter Ending 3 September 1918". Its in the PRO, Colonial Office files CO 534/26 pp 373 - 422 A useful list, particularly for historians of TF units which seemed to have supplied the bulk of the NCOs Charles John - it was good to meet you in the PRO last week, sounds like you had a very successful couple of days Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
