Muerrisch Posted 29 February , 2008 Share Posted 29 February , 2008 There is no such para in TF regs 1908, the nearest I have to the Great War period. What date does your query stem from?
ddycher Posted 2 March , 2008 Author Share Posted 2 March , 2008 Thanks Gents. My enquiry stems from research on the 1/5th Devons where one of the officers (Henry Mills Goldsmith) is quoted in the Gazette as "seconded under the conditions of paragraph 112, Territorial Force Regulations" as an A.D.C. at the outbreak of the war. I understand the appointment but not the relevence of the regulations. I am trying to find who he was A.D.C to. Grumpy you are right on the date - it is dated : 5th August, 1914. Appreciate the help. ddycher Posted 23 May , 2009 Author Share Posted 23 May , 2009 All Having done further research on Henry Goldsmith it appears he was a member of the british olympic team in 1908. winning a Bronze medal in the rowing eights. Still trying to find who he was ADC to. Anyone have any further ideas. Regards Dave
