The weather forcast for the rest of this week is foul so it may be the weekend before I get out there. Chris B Posted 17 March , 2008 Share Posted 17 March , 2008 Ian I drove over to Stoke Rivers this morning. Walked around the churchyard twice, looked in the church and walked around the hamlet. Nice location with tremendous views but like a ghost town at 1100. I'm afraid that I could find no trace of a war memorial and the couple of people I found to ask didn't know of one. If despite my drawing a blank you find something to show that there IS ior should be a war memorial, let me have the info and I'll have another look.
