This is my grandpa, Private Henry Woods S/16077

From his medal card:

Regtl No S/16077

Victory G/104 B 12

British ditto

The lower left hand corner of the photo says Cairo, Egypt 1916.

What, if anything, can be gleaned from his uniform? Word was that he made it to Basra and Palestine. I'm still trying to find which division and brigade he served in.

Thanks for your help,

Tom
