Cemetery: ST. PATRICK'S CEMETERY, LOOS

Born in late 1886 in the south of Gloucestershire. Commissioned into 3rd (Res) Bn Glos Regt as an ex Cadet of the OTC on 24th February 1915.

Serving with 1st Bn Glos Regt in the Loos area at the time of his death during an attack on Hart Crater. "The Gloucestershire Regiment in the War 1914 - 1918" by Everard Wyrall describes the attack as "This brilliant little affair carried out by the Gloucesters in extraordinarily severe weather consisting mostly of blizzards of snow, cost the Battalion 1 officer (2Lt W R K Heath) killed, who was shot down during the rush with the right hand party to the lip of the crater, 1 other rank killed and 2 injured.

Not forgotten.
