Hallo,

Does anyone knows where this gun was located, or has this pic been seen before?

Cnock,

I cannot answer your query, but I wonder if this was taken at a factory/works?

I see the chimney arrangements and sheerlegs behind, and the lifting beam overhead. The men on the gun look to be workers.

Hi Ian,

the chimney arrangements are part of the system for lifting the gun barrel, there are indeed civilians, but also soldiers on the left.

this type of lifting beam was always used for getting this heavy navy guns in their emplacement.

Hi Mick,

No clues at all.

Only 2 civilians near the gun.
