I know he was sent home blinded by gas in 1916-17. How can I find out further information on him. I would like to know where he fought and possibly what hospital he went to when sent home. Then on 'Tommies' then on iIfantry, then on King's Liverpool Regiment. You will see that this was a very large regiment, with many battalions. You have work to do.
