MC & Bar- two citations only one announcement found

An officer I am researhing, Heny Phillip Forshaw of the 5th Bn Royal Lancaster Reg't, won the MC and Barwithin a very short time of entering the war in August 1917, and both within a few months of each other.

I have found the announcemnt to the award of his MC (LG 26/11/1917) and the citation for this award (LG 6/4/1918). However, can't for the life of me find any announcemnt of the award of the Bar. I have the citation for it (LG 16/9/1918).

Am I a victim of the LG search facility or am I looking for something which may not exist?

Some citations did appear without the prior announcement. I'm pretty sure that the September 1918 citations were in that category.

There was however a significant delay between the actions and the citations. A good proportion of the medals would date to the March/April German offensive.
