christine liava'a Posted 2 February , 2004 Share Posted 2 February , 2004 Does anyone have information on any of 3 people called FRANCIS, as a surname, in the East Surrey Regiment? 2 , Clifford Claude FRANCIS and Cyril Gerard Brooks FRANCIS were captains in the 10th Batt the other, F. FRANCIS, first name unknown, joined up late 1917, or early 1918 They may have been brothers. Their father could have been a missionary. Not much help i know but if this is your man i have also his marriage year and initials of his wife. Let me know.
