Possible name discrepancy S Pick

Can you please advise the best way to have a current listing on CWGC which I believe may be incorrectly named.

1125 Stephen Pick who DOW's 08/06/16 with the 11th Bn East Yorks is listed on the site as being buried in Gezaincourt Communal Cemetery.

However on the SDWG listing he is shown as Sydney Pick.

Sydney is also the only name shown on his MIC, Medal Roll and the surviving papers held at the National Archives.

I would like to have this corrected if Sydney is in fact his correct name.

Could you kindly advise what documentation would have to be produced to have this looked.

C W G C will only change the details from a relative as they may wished him to be known as Stephen. No doubt they will check to see if its a scanning error.

This would be unlikely to be a scanning error. Sydney would not be converted to Stephen.

I'll check it for you but it will depend on the original records supplied by the military. The name recorded by CWGC is that by which he was known in the military - not necessarily always the name with which he was born.
