battiscombe Posted 15 February , 2008 Share Posted 15 February , 2008 The 252nd were the renumbered Territorial 3rd Northumbrian Bde RFA - Durham batteries ?? (but he was from Wigan?) I think - so that number is presumably a low Territorial number ( as TF numbers were before being renumbered later in the war) which will not be helpful for indicating an enlistment date I think, -- (other RFA low numbers are generally prewar Special Reservists - unlikely in his case I would guess) david Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
