I have found the info from the cwgc and seen he is in the medal rolls, but hope that there is some other information that we can add to our publication. Entry for Monday 3rd January 1916 reads: "Rise at 7.30 and march to Les Brebis at 11 am. Fairly long march but get good billet. Narrow escape from shell which killed three and wounded eight, D Company, very lucky." Cpl Lindon was, perhaps, one of the wounded. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
