Hello All,

I have a 1914-15 star to the gentleman named above, I have tried to pull up his medal index card at the PRO but there is nothing about him.

Its an unusual surname at there are only 2 records for individuals with this name.

Any info regarding Mr Harbertson would be appreciated.

What does the TZ and AB standfor?

Many thanks

Rob

HERBERTSON according to the NA Kew listing. You can download his Royal Naval Division Record Card here:

http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documen...p;resultcount=1

or get a copy from the Fleet Air Arm Museum, who will also hold his engagement papers.

Able Seaman [AB] Thomas HERBERTSON RNVR. Tyneside Division RNVR. Service Number Tyne [T] Z/1732
