Hi, Can you look up John Dickinson MM service no. 28755 of the 3rd Battalion. I have his service record but can not figure out what action he won the MM in.

He is my Great Uncle.

Regards,

Norman

Oops ignore my request, he was in the Grenadier Guards. Sorry to trouble you

I thought the number was a bit high and that he must have won his MM the day he arrived in france - do you have the gazette date ?

Yes, it was 2nd supplement LG 11 June 1918, I have downloaded the page and it only mentions his name, amongst many others.

I shall time your reply, the last one was 4 minutes!!!!!!

I know Peterborough very well, my Wife has spent a lot of money there.

Norman
