Adam Llewellyn Posted 11 February , 2008 Share Posted 11 February , 2008 Hi, Thomas was with the 85th siege battery and his date of death is down as 24.7.1916 and he is buried at the Bronfay Farm Military Cemeterty, Bray-Sur-Somme. The Long, long Trail website is telling me that the 85th where with the second army and had 2, 12 inch howitzer's in their battery and would have been quite away behind the frontline. Can anyone please tell me where abouts the 85th could have been on the Somme and if Thomas was killed in action. Regards. Llew.
