Rory S Posted 10 February , 2008 Posted 10 February , 2008 My grandfather died 1914 of wounds probably received at Ennetierres, his medal card shows entries against Victory and British, but no entry against Star, however he was awarded a clasp. I'm fairly sure the clasp was only on the Star, and would like someone who knows about these things, if I'm right, that he would have been awarded a 1914 star. I intend to buy some modern replacements, and want to get it right.
Max Posted 10 February , 2008 Posted 10 February , 2008 It is quite likely that a 2nd MiC exists listing his Star entitlement

Max Posted 10 February , 2008 Posted 10 February , 2008 Hello Rory If your grandfather died of wounds received in France prior to 22nd November 1914 he would be entitled to the 1914 Star. Andy
