Dave- your post of 10/2/08. Oh well- better late than never. If you're still interested my Grandad 7451 Leonard Dawson was in the 16th Manchesters from 23/2/1915 to 30/7/1916 when he became a POW at Guillemont till the wars end. If you need any more details let me know.

You can find out a little about his PoW camps here http://themanchesters.org/forum/index.php  There's an indication he died in 1918.  ISsthis right?

No, it is a mistake on my part, I entered his repatriation date in the wrong cell in the spreadsheet. It will show correctly in the next update.

Tim-Charlie 2 is correct. (again)? Leonard died in Perth W.A. in 1955 at the ripe old age of "58".
