Treaties in the War

I'm kinda new here, but anyway.

I'm a 13 year old home ed student working on the Great War...and i'm stuck on this one thing.

How many treaties were involved in the First World War?

I'm not really sure..which leave a dirty great big hole in my project!

If anyone can, or will , help please do!!

Lots ... but your question is much to vague to really answer. Treaties involved in starting it, finishing it ... during the war ... What? Even with those parameters, the answer would be nebulous and you'd leave out some ... Try stating your question similar to "Which treaties came into play duing the 1914 commencement of the war?" or some such varient.

The answer to the above can be found in almost any General History or discussion of the war in a text.

I think you mean treaties that ended the war right? At the least there are treaties with Germany Austria Hungary Bulgaria and Ottoman Empire with Allied powers and the US, then there is treaty or treaties that ended war between Central Powers & Russia.

But there were also the various European treaties involved at the beginning of the war, which made it spread beyond Austro-Hungary and Serbia. If it had not been for treaties and the obligations they imposed on various countries, many of the other countries would not have become involved

Which shows that it is important for governments to be sure of what they are letting themselves in for, before they sign a treaty!

I really am too vague sometimes

I really need the names of the ones that started the war, If anyone can help me there. Ill try it your way then, Which treaties influenced the comencement of the war in 1914?.

By 'treaties' I mean pacts of Alliance that dragged certain countries into the war. Like the 'Belgian Pact of Neutrality' which pulled Britain in. If there are anymore that didn't engage countries in the war, but added to the political unrest, please include those!
