JulianB Posted 23 January , 2008 Share Posted 23 January , 2008 Yes, The Kings (Liverpool Regt) cap badge sealed in 1896 as pattern 4362A. The horse and ground were in white metal and the scroll in gilding metal. From what I can see of it's style I would guess that this one is later - ie from about 1910 onwards. The 5th Battalion had the same badge but in blackened brass and the 7th in white metal (though not worn during the war). This badge was superseded by the larger 'rocking horse' pattern in 1926.
