montbrehain Posted 21 January , 2008 Share Posted 21 January , 2008 A mate sent me a photo yesterday. I hardly remembered it being taken. I was lucky enough to be selected as a member of the "Khaki chums" who took part in the BBC documentary "The Trench" . We moved in to the trench a week before the volunteers and all up I spent 3 weeks there. I know by rereading posts on the forum that it was not everybody's cup of tea. But for me it was an experience I will never forget. Receiving this photo brought back a lot of memories .
