Hi can anyone tell me where to find the rest of Arthur Milwards Story? I read the first 11 pages and he had joined the Camel Corps got upto Sat 29th Jul 1916 posted by Kevinaka1888 on 29 Jul 2007 and it ended rather abruptly.

I am interested because my 2 gt uncles both served in the 1/1st Staffs Yeo.

L/Cpl Frederick John Archer 96025 MGC (18th Cavalry) formerly 2905 with 1/1st staffs Yeo transferred to MGC 24th Jul 1917. From his service record he enlisted 5/9/1914 at Stafford. Embarked Southampton Oct 27th 1915 Disembaked Alexandria Nov 10th 1915. He was made up to L/Cpl 30th Jan 1917. Sadly he died of Malaria 25th Oct 1915 and is buried at CWG Damascus.

His elder brother Charles Henry Archer Pte 300256 Corps of Hussars formerly 2904 1/1st Staffs Yeo only has a Medal Card but I imagine he has similar dates to his brother as they have concesutive reg No's. He came home safely.

I was wondering if they had beed in the same Squadron as EA Milward or if there was any way of finding out?

Thanks to anyone who can help me find the thread again.

Juliet
