He was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal “for conspicuous gallantry in volunteering to go out to an observation station in a very exposed position under a heavy shell fire. Robert Tucker, he was wounded and lost a leg. He was back in England by September 1916. Dont waste too much time on it, I keep trying in the hope I will turn something up.
