AlfaMale Posted 11 January , 2008 Share Posted 11 January , 2008 Refound this article recently which makes interesting reading: although James Martin is often thought of as the youngest ANZAC (he died in Gallipolli in October 1915 aged 14 years and 9 months), Alick James Bryant was only 13 years 11 months when he successfully signed up. Amazingly, as he was under 21 years of age, his mother had to give her consent for him to join up! Alick was eventually found out and survived the war.
