Brindle, 9747 A is one of the names in the OCL. Over 400 LFs from 12 IB/4 Div were sent to hospital suffering from Gas Poisoning following the German gas attack on 02/05/1915. Frederick C Clay 935 was in hospital in Malta as was Gwilym Howell 817, 19/11/1915 to hospital in Malta (and is also on H 3543 which I posted on p 62) Herbert Richard Howland 966 AF B 103 records 27/11/1915 dangerously ill in St Elmo's Hospital Malta.
