Jimmy Taylor Posted 13 February , 2003 Share Posted 13 February , 2003 I came across several references to him when I was working on 1st Royal Irish Rifles. He was CO of 2nd Rifle Brigade in 25th Brigade, 8th Division, and took command of the brigade when Brigadier-General Lowry Cole was killed, 9.5.1915 at Fromelles.
