Jake Drummond Posted 6 January , 2008 Share Posted 6 January , 2008 I have a medal card bearing what looks to be the following; "Inst. GD ??? NWFF 1919" (Roll 17586-1) Forftd. Disc. 392 KR X111, 18 1 23 Auth. 17586/A610, Identity Verified" which alludes to a discharge with ignomony and forfeiting of a British War Medal. Did this mean that he may have served a sentence and been discharged afterwards, (date of 18 1 23)? The Abreviation NWFF is a mystery too.
