Remembered Today:

Q-Ship Bradford City (Saros)

Recommended Posts

Please, know somebody the name of the british Q-Ship Bradford City (so called Saros)? I'm looking for in the National Archives (PRO) and I can't find references to it. Probably it would had a number (by example, Q-30, or similar)

Thank you very much.

BRADFORD CITY was a 3683 ton collier (Y3.500) built in 1910. Also carried name of BALLISTAN. SAROS from 16 Oct 15 to sinking in Straits of Messina on 16 Aug 1917.

No men were lost in her sinking.

All best
