Guest J.Woodward Posted 26 January , 2004 Share Posted 26 January , 2004 Evening all, Wondering if anyone had anywhere come across 2nd Lt Francis Ashton Walkey, A Coy, 2nd Bn Royal Dublin Fus. KIA 17th Oct. 1918. He was the son of Charles Hayme Walkey and Annie Walkey, of "Trevose," Palmerston Gardens, Rathmines, Dublin. Joined Rugby Vol. Corps, 12th Aug., 1914. Enlisted 7th Royal Dublin Fusiliers, March, 1915. Served in Gallipoli, Egypt, Palestine and Salonika. Buried Highland Cemetery, Le Cateau. Furthermore does anyone know what the Rugby Vol. Corps was?
