Chris_Baker Posted 24 January , 2004 Share Posted 24 January , 2004 Sergeant Frank Warnes, 39285 enlisted in the RFA in 1905. He was finally discharged, with a silver war badge, on 14 December 1918. His medal index card gives as the cause of discharge "AO VI/18 P2A S". Not one that I have seen before...can anyone fill me in on what this means? robwilliams Posted 24 January , 2004 Share Posted 24 January , 2004 Chris, Have you tried looking in the SWB rolls, they will give the exact cause? From those rolls I have so far found the following reasons for discharge: Wounds Sickness Sickness not caused by military service Medical grounds Age Time expired Rob
