Paul Johnson Posted 24 January , 2004 Share Posted 24 January , 2004 Can anyone tell if there is a War Memorial in Stepney, East London? If so, where is it? My G/Uncle was Frederick John KOTTMAN - Rifleman - 678232 21st Bn., London Regt (First Surrey Rifles) Killed In Action on Sunday 1 September 1918 . Buried: SAILLY-SAILLISEL BRITISH CEMETERY, Somme, France Grave Number: IV. J. 9. I would like to know if he is remembered anywhere in London? Thanks PAUL JOHNSON
