Guest KevinEndon Posted 30 November , 2007 Share Posted 30 November , 2007 Just my luck that the memorial I am looking up does not have any officers killed in 1914. No doubt though that what you have there will be a god send to some. Kevin

Gunner R.A. Posted 3 December , 2007 Share Posted 3 December , 2007 Hello Tafski, any chance you could look up the following officer for me, PHILIP CHABERT KIDD, Second Lieutenant, Yorkshire Regiment, KIA, 30/10/1914. Even up until at least October 1915 Lt Kidd was presumed to have been wounded and taken prisoner, sadly this was not to be. kind regards, Pete. steve fuller Posted 3 December , 2007 Share Posted 3 December , 2007 Hmmmmn ... seeing as though i research a Rgt and not a Memorial, is the offer open to nuisances like me?!! I have a fair bit on most of the 1st & 2nd Btn Officers died in 1914 but am always interested in & looking for more. If there is anything on any of the Beds Officers and you ahve the time / patience, I woudl be grateful for whatever is available, including piccies. If not possible, then I completely understand. If its easier to scan & mail rather than type, my email is steve@bedfordregiment.org.uk Either way, nice of you to offer!
