Looking for GRO References

Recommended Posts

I am seeking GRO Death References for the following men, all of whom are buried in Prescot Churchyard. According to SDGW, two of them “Died of Wounds” and two “Died”. One died after the war and is therefore absent from SDGW.

I am also keen to learn the age of the first of these men, J E Forshaw.

Gnr. John Edward Forshaw, RFA, 12/10/1918

Pye. William Hall, ASC, 21/11/1918, aged 26

Sgt. John Platt, South Lancs., 26/05/1915, aged 24

Pte. Ernest Taylor, KLR, 07/03/1916, aged 30

Pte. Frederick Stanley, Lanc. Fus., 26/06/1918, aged 35

I think I have been looking for too long and need a fresh pair of eyes :D

Cheers

Hi

I have had a quick look for these soldiers but there are lots with the same name so it would be helpful if you have the regiment No.s to make checking a bit easier.

Do you have them? If so, please post them and I will take another look

Regards
