Stebie9173 Posted 30 November , 2007 Share Posted 30 November , 2007 I think this might be our man... (From the Surrey Recruitment Registers) The number is NOT a Regimental number. I can't find an MIC for him though.... Steve.
Guest northy-s Posted 30 November , 2007 Share Posted 30 November , 2007 Hi All I am Evie and I would like to say thank you to Lynne for starting this thread on my behalf, sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner my son had claimed the computer ! Thank you also to everyone for all your work on my behalf . I think Steve has definately found my man. I lived at 95 Fortescue road with my Grandad (Philip J Morgan) when I was a child. Steve can you tell me how I could get hold of a copy of his attestation papers please. You say that there isn't a Regimental number and you can't find an MIC - what does this mean exactly, sorry I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to all things military. Thank you also to Mel for the census returns which included Philip and his family. What wonderful people you all are. Evie
