Desmond7 Posted 20 January , 2004 Share Posted 20 January , 2004 OK - two officers surname Darragh, Sec. Lt. Matthew Sloan Darragh (d.20/3/1917)and Lt. J.R. Darragh aged 26 (d.5/7/1917) both 6th bttn. both came from Ballycraigy, Co. Antrim. Another Darragh - trooper John, Inniskilling Dragoons (from Ballycraigy) d. 24/12/1916 aged 34. How did two become officers in top class county regt. and one (seemingly the eldest) end up as trooper in 'Skins'?
