OK - two officers surname Darragh, Sec. Lt. Matthew Sloan Darragh (d.20/3/1917)and Lt. J.R. Darragh aged 26 (d.5/7/1917) both 6th bttn. both came from Ballycraigy, Co. Antrim.

Another Darragh - trooper John, Inniskilling Dragoons (from Ballycraigy) d. 24/12/1916 aged 34.

How did two become officers in top class county regt. and one (seemingly the eldest) end up as trooper in 'Skins'? For anyone's info. they must have been well-off farming family - Ballycraigy is a townland.

Hope this is of some use to someone.
