Guest drawlings Posted 22 November , 2007 Share Posted 22 November , 2007 I have recently acquired a book which seems to be a bound copy of several AAC Journals from 1916 to 1918, after which they started the R.N. A.A.C. Association. Bound in the front of the book is a Concert Programme given by the RN AAC Association at Canon Street Hotel on the 1st July. The date is not given but I guess that it would be in 1919. The AAC started off as a corp of the RNVR under the Admiralty but later came under the Home Forces of the War Office. The book contains several cartoon drawings of various officers and several group photos but unfortunately the men are not named in the photos. Each journal consists of reports from various stations with names such as "Jack Straws", "The Almshouse", "The Sluice House", "The Nursery" and "The Privy Garden". Guest Posted 19 July , 2019 Share Posted 19 July , 2019 I have a copy of the same journal. The date of the dinner was 17/11/1919 as I also have a loose menu card tucked inside my copy. Any suggestions for how to dispose of it usefully?
