Drover Posted 15 November , 2007 Share Posted 15 November , 2007 I've come across a Christmas card with the above embossed initials under a base of four thistles under a crown held by an eagle, surrounded by lightning bolts. It was sent by H. B. Kelsall from Fort Matilda at Christmas 1917. Fort Matilda is at Greenock, on the Clyde to the west of Glasgow and I believe there was a torpedo filling station there. The badge looks as if it might have something to do with radio. Any thoughts anyone? Many thanks and regards Jim
Chris_Baker Posted 15 November , 2007 Share Posted 15 November , 2007 My guess is that it is the Renfrewshire Fortress Company RE. Details here
