daggers Posted 15 November , 2007 Share Posted 15 November , 2007 Several WW1 items in the new issue which I got yesterday. Iain Swinnerton writes on Boy heroes; another item is on the identification and reburial of 5 ANZAC soldiers; our parent LLT site gets a short mention; there are some extracts from a diary kept by a yeoman of signals in the Battle of the Falklands Islands (8 Dec 1914); a book on the impact of the First World War on the people of Berkshire has a brief review. There are letters and some advice on tracing a grandfather's WW1 service and a merchant seaman's career. A reader offers a WW1 paybook (Philip Worth, RE) to a relative. Quite a haul and some of those readers should be joining this Forum! Daggers
