Hi Gt Uncle James Keeling was wounded with 1 North Staffordshire Regt on 11 August 1916 (Pension Record)

1 N Staffs War Diary says:-

9/8/16 Received orders move to GUILLEMONT night 10/11 August.

10/8/16 Battalion moves up to LA BRIQUETERIE relieving 1/10 LIVERPOOLS (LIVERPOOL SCOTTISH)

11/8/16 Improving TEALE TRENCH

1 killed, 4 wounded by bombardment

120 yards advanced from GUILLEMONT – TRONES WOOD ROAD NORTHWARDS

12/8/16 Casualties to 12 noon 1 killed 5 wounded.

I wondered if anyone might have a trenchmap of the area
