I picked up a set of Morris cigarette cards yesterday on Unit Markings and

there were several with the discription SBAC. What is this ? ? Ammunition column ?

Unlikely. This is a series of formation badges Army, Corps, Division and

(interestly enough the reason why I bought them) small unit markings such as

Divisional ammunition columns, ammunition parks, etc. but about four

the them have a formation badge underneath which is a number followed

by SBAC eg 297th SBAC
