Dave,

The map image is fantastic!

My great uncle was also with the East Lancs (42nd bn MGC), and I would love to get some more info on his movements (so to speak!)

Where did you get the map?

My Great uncle got to the armistice, but sadly died of flu on 19th (buried Caudry)

That image is from the "trenchmaps extracts" part of the website - http://pathsofglory.co.uk . The actual map (if you need any other section of it scanning) - Sheet 57D NE edition 5d Local (trench dated 14/6/18) - is on a shelf in my "library".
