He was commissioned ino the TF Royal Field Artillery. The online London Gazette only throws up a few items (not including his commission and discharge ... what a hopeless resources that sometimes is) and offers no clue as to his unit. His service record does not seem to exist at Kew, yet I believe he was discharged in 1920 (as suggested by the Army List). Long shot but has anyone come across this chap? Birmingham City Library has a full set of the London Gazette for the war years. Searching there might prove more fruitful than the online LG search engine. Good luck!
