per ardua per mare per terram Posted 4 November , 2007 Share Posted 4 November , 2007 His RAF service record will be in AIR 76, offline on microfilm in alphabetical order, at Kew. His casualty card may be at the RAF Museum archives.
wulsten Posted 4 November , 2007 Share Posted 4 November , 2007 quote per ardua per ma.... Yes, they are in alphabetical order and you don't get spoonfed; as they are on microfilm they are catalogued with ranges of names rather than specific names. If you put in AIR 76 and a number and then browse through to get the right film, or you could just look at the paper catalogue at Kew. good luck ade, send a pm may be going down to kew this month, bring your spoon lol
